Since opening our doors in 2018, we’ve received a lot of feedback from our patients and collected data surrounding what works best in our dispensary. At BaM Body and Mind Dispensary, we believe that bringing our patients a fresh way to shop will create a newfound, relaxed atmosphere for our Ohio medical marijuana patients. We want our medical patients to feel safe and at ease, and by remodeling our store we hope to foster a more open and educational environment.

We wanted to outline a few of the changes you can expect to see on your next visit:

• A more spacious layout that makes it easier to navigate the dispensary. We’ve rearranged the space to foster conversation between our patients and our budtenders. We’ve added more in-store menu locations so patients can peruse the menu without feeling rushed. By creating this open and airy layout, the space will no longer feel cramped.

In fact, many studies have shown that a more open, welcoming space can make customers feel more at ease in stores and other businesses. For example, research has shown that an open floor plan allows shoppers to see what’s going on around them and get a sense of how busy or crowded the store is at any given time. This can help reduce anxiety and make the shopping experience more enjoyable, which of course, is our top priority.

• Updated signage and branding that reflects our commitment to being a patient-focused dispensary. After all, we want you to know that you’re shopping at BaM Body and Mind in Elyria, Ohio! Our updates will reflect our business’ core values, which are always to serve our patients to the best of our ability. We’re proud of our clean aesthetic and now, we will be even more updated to suit our patient’s medical marijuana needs. 

This new signage will also make navigating around the space easier and more intuitive, allowing our team members to spend more time helping patients with their needs. We believe that this change will lead to a better, more satisfying experience for all of our patients.

• TV menu screens. Today we have so much technology available at our fingertips. By adding in TV menu screens, we’re not only making it easier for our patients to shop, we’re able to consolidate all of our menu information onto a single screen, streamlining our selections. We don’t want our patients to feel awkward standing in front of a TV menu screen, so we’ve strategically placed them away from our POS systems so no one feels rushed or uncomfortable. 

Above all, we want our dispensary to be a place where patients can come to relax and feel comfortable. We hope these changes will create an atmosphere that is warm and inviting.
