Do I need to be a certain age to consume cannabis in Illinois?  

Yes, in Illinois, you must be 21 years of age or older to purchase recreational cannabis products legally. However, medical patients with qualifying conditions may be under the age of 21 and still have access to medicinal cannabis products.

What Do I Need to Purchase Marijuana at BaM Body and Mind Dispensary?  

To purchase cannabis products from our dispensary, you must bring a valid government-issued ID. If you are over 21 years of age and looking to buy recreational cannabis, all you need is your ID. However, if you are under the age of 21 or looking for medical marijuana products in Illinois, you must provide your medical marijuana card in addition to a valid government-issued ID.

What Form of Payment Does BaM Body and Mind Accept?  

You can use cash, debit, Apple pay, or Aeropay. To use Aeropay, register in advance at register.aeropay.com/register. If you need cash, you can use the in-store ATM, which accepts credit and debit cards.

How much does cannabis cost at BaM Body and Mind Markham Dispensary?  

Although the prices of cannabis products vary by location, we offer excellent value and selection at our dispensary in Markham. Our top priority is to provide affordable, high-quality cannabis products that enable more people to access medical and recreational marijuana.

How much marijuana can I legally buy in Illinois and at BaM Body and Mind Markham Dispensary?  

Possession limit for Illinois residents:


  • 30 grams of cannabis flower;

  • 5 grams of cannabis concentrate;

  • No more than 500 milligrams of THC contained in a cannabis-infused product;

     


Registered patients in the medical cannabis pilot program may possess more than 30 grams of cannabis if grown and secured in their residence under certain conditions. Possession limit for non-Illinois residents:

  • 15 grams of cannabis flower;

  • 2.5 grams of cannabis;

  • No more than 250 milligrams of THC contained in a cannabis-infused product.


The possession limits are to be considered cumulative.

Where am I legally allowed to smoke cannabis in Markham?  

It is illegal to use cannabis in any public spaces, including parks, streets, schools or other government-owned property. Cannabis can only be consumed on private property with the owner's permission. Remember that many landlords and rental properties have policies prohibiting smoking (including cannabis). It is important to check your lease for more information.

Does BaM Body and Mind Markham have cannabis delivery?  

Currently, we only provide express pickup for our customers.

How much are the taxes for cannabis products at BaM Body and Mind Markham Dispensary?  

When purchasing adult-use cannabis, you will be charged a State Retailers' Occupation Tax of 6.25%, just like with other merchandise. In addition, local retailers' occupation taxes may also apply. In some areas, municipalities and counties can add an additional tax on the sales of adult-use cannabis, but this tax does not apply to medical cannabis.

Do I need a medical card to buy cannabis products?  

No, you do not need a medical card to purchase recreational cannabis in Illinois. However, if you are under the age of 21 or looking for medical marijuana products, you must provide your medical marijuana card in addition to a valid government-issued ID.
